Star Locksmith was started for a simple reason: too many people ringing locksmiths after a lockout were given a cheap figure over the phone, then charged something completely different once the work was done.

We do it differently. We don't quote blind down the phone — we come out, look at the actual job, and tell you the price before we start. You pay once it's finished. The locksmith you speak to is the locksmith who turns up, and the work is done to the standard we would want in our own homes.

That means high-security, insurance-approved locks, anti-snap cylinders, multipoint mechanisms from the original manufacturer, and a 12-month written guarantee on every job. It also means we will tell you when you do not need an upgrade — because honest advice is part of the service.
